This past weekend Jacob and I snuck away for a weekend in the “snow”! We are so blessed to live in the beautiful city of Phoenix because we are only 4 hours to the beach in Mexico, 6 hours to the beach in California, and only 1.5 hours to the snow and forest in Northern Arizona. My mom planned a Christmas winter wonderland at their cabin for all the children to come up and enjoy (so nice)! Unfortunately we had missed the storm so there was just frozen water, really cold wind, and dirty snow pilled on people’s roofs. Nonetheless, we still had fun! We spent Saturday in the town of Flagstaff walking around shopping, finding last minute Christmas gifts, and even got a photo with a really nice but kinda creepy Santa Clause, haha. Sunday we went on a 6 mile hike, it was nice to breath in fresh air, but holy moly it was COLD! Overall the weekend was SO much fun and I CANNOT believe Christmas is in a few short days!! AH!
